NEW BRAND: Shangri-La Heritage
The name Shangri-La has a long heritage behind it. The legend was born in the 17th Century, as the first European travelers explored Tibet and the tales of “Shangri-La” as a mythical valley started spreading. A mysterious and unreachable place, which evokes pure human desire and deep spirituality. As a brand name it retraces the dream for exploration on motorcycles hunting for beautiful and forgotten spots, in a word, searching for the Shangri-La. The addition of Heritage in the brand’s name comes from the need to create iconic and timeless garments, inspired by the past. Working hard to deliver high quality products from Northern Italy and following in the steps of their name’s heritage story, the company founders Daniel and Marco are always on the road looking for new adventures, discovering places, meeting new people who share their interests and getting to know new fabric types and manufacturing techniques, valuable to keep their products up-to-date. Shangri-La Heritage is mainly focused on crafting amazing leather and riding jacket, but they also make great pants, hats and gloves. One of our favourite products from them has been the ”Varenne’ Navajo jacket, made from recycled carpets and knit cut-outs which gives it a sturdy feel and a very peculiar look (as seen below).
